I like how she's so matured in her spiritual life and that she has that strong relationship for her to have an insight like that. God's really using her to help open my eyes. Thanks God.
Oh and I was doing my devotion the other day and it had short phrases in them. One of it was ,"God doesn't smooth out all of life's bumpy terrain, but He does lead us over it."
Imagine you and your friends in a remote tropical resort and suddenly there was a power failure. Everthing is dark around you, and you don't have a flashlight or handphones or anything that can shine light. Then the manager of the hotel orders you guys to trust him to lead you to safety knowing that there maybe wild animals around.
He's familiar with the surroundings and tells you guys to trust him. And eventually you guys arrived to another resort. The guide didn't get rid of all the thick jungle foliage. Nor did he rid the area of wild animals and poisonous spiders and snakes. But he did make sure he led you and your friends to the destination.
Well, Jesus is that guide. He doesn't give us the gift of a danger-free, obstacle-free life. Instead, He gives us the gift of himself. He promises to serve as our guide on everystep of life's journey.
Phew, I actually typed all that out from my devotional book. Haha. Thought I'd like to share it with my readers, whoever's left reading that is. Haha. :D
