You.

I'm glad you're not just like any other guy who will leave you when he's sick of you. I'm thankful that you're different. I'm sorry if I've been a stubborn little kid who never listens to you no matter how many times you try to correct me and direct my steps. Yet, you still forgive and gaveme lots of second chances. I'm thankful for your unconditional love that I do not seem to appreciate. I'm sorry for forgetting you whenever everything else is going smoothly in my life. Thank you for putting up with my roller coaster mood swings.

Thank you for readily opening up your arms to me when I call you even when it was a one-time thing. Thank you for ALWAYS being there when I need you even when no one's around. Thank you that you still accept me even when I've turned away from you so many times. Thank you for comforting me and telling me what I should do when I'm in a dilemma. Thank you that I can count on you on absolutely anything.

I don't need anyone but you. Not even the most hottest and good looking guy on earth. I'll stay true to you. I promise. I'm grateful that you're my friend, brother, father and God. I love You.

Blah.

I seriously think I have fate with guys whose names starts with the letter "D". Like everytime I am attracted to a good looking guy, he's either a Daniel or David(excluding my brother). Coincidence much? I think not! I wonder if I DO marry a "D" guy. That'd be freakishly cool. Haha. Nyways, I think I gave out a wee bit of info about my crush. Oh wait, he's not a "D" so maybe we're not made for each other. AWWWWW :'((( lol. WTH lah, I'm crapping as usual. OK, goodbye peeps and have a great day! :) God bless.

Simple.

Life seems so much simpler in the Old Testament. Obey God = get blessed. Don’t obey Him = expect trouble. It’s a simple theology that satisfies our craving for justice.

The story of King Asa offers a textbook example of this apparent cause-and-effect relationship with God. Asa was an excellent leader who turned his people from worshiping false gods (2 Chronicles 15:8). But late in his reign, he depended on his own strength and judgment instead of on God (16:2-7). Eventually, Hanani the prophet told Asa: “The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him” (16:9). Asa’s heart was evidently not fully in tune with God, for the balance of his life was marked by war and disease (v.12).

It’s easy to look at this story and say that people get what they deserve. But we don’t always see that happen in life. Good people often suffer. Bad people sometimes get away with murder.

A closer look at Scripture reflects these deeper nuances accurately. Even in the Old Testament, we see how the wicked seem to prosper while heroes of the faith suffer terribly. Joseph, an innocent man, languished in prison for years (Genesis 39:19–41:1). Asaph lamented that the ungodly seemed to prosper, before concluding that justice would eventually prevail (Psalm 73). In raw honesty, Jeremiah actually accused God: “You misled me” (Jeremiah 20:7).

Does God care? Yes, He does! The greatest injustice in all of history took place when Jesus suffered and died on the cross. God permitted His innocent Son to pay the horrid penalty for our sins. Is there justice in that?

“God helps those who help themselves,” some say, But the truth is, God helps those who are fully dependent on Him.

A Sin Review.

A Sin Review

The Weekly Walk

"Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!" - Psalm 25:7

David remembers all too well the sins of his youth - as well as more recent ones! And yet he comes to God with a bold request:"Remember not the sins of my youth." Do you know what he's talking about? He's talking here about sins of ignorance, the sins of youthful arrogance. "I didn't know any better." Or, "I thought I knew better!" Does that ring bells for you? Did you do some stupid stuff when you were young? The older I get, the more I realize how little I knew when I knew it all. The sins of my youth - now those are some haunting problems from the past: "I was ignorant. I was foolish. I was immature - Lord, choose not to remember these things."

But notice the second phrase: ". . . or my transgressions." Some translations say "my rebellious ways." It means my willful acts; not just my youthful foolishness, but the times in my life, God, when I knew the right and I chose the wrong. I knew that my attitude was wrong, but I chose that bitterness anyway. I knew that my values were wrong, but I chose to be selfish. I knew that that pleasure was forbidden by You, but I consumed it for myself. As we draw near to God, we have a sense of His holiness.

Sometimes it's not easy to be in the hot seat. If we're going to really connect with the life of trust, the barrier is sin. "Your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God,"Isaiah 59:2 says. "Your sins have hidden his face from you."One of the reasons why people trust God so little is because trusting God requires dealing with sin. "Remember not the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your steadfast love remember me, for the sake of your goodness, O Lord!" "I don't deserve to be riding along here with You. I don't deserve to be in this life of trust and faith, but I acknowledge my sin. And I claim Your mercy."

The Book of Tomorrow.

I wish there was such a book as my title reads. Then, I could prepare myself for whatis ahead of me. But then again, it'd wouldn't be a surprise anymore. It's such a breathtaking book full of surprises but towards the ending, it got a little sappy and predictable. Haha.

Anyways, college is starting in 3 more days. Boohoo. I can't believe I'm going back to books and loooonngg hours in college again. And not forgetting the frequent tests and exams. SIGH! But despite all that I'm always reminded by the Holy Spirit that "This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in Him". Ain't that an awesome motivation? Whatever has happen, or will happen, let us rejoice and accept the reality of it because after all, it's part of His AMAZING plan for our lives. :)

I realise that I'm a pretty quiet person when I'm around with people. And during those times, I'm always thinking about stuffs. I miss writing in my diary but I just find it easier to type it out instead of holding a pen because of the amount of thoughts I have in my head. It's hard for my hand to keep up sometimes. Lol.

Oo oo by the way, anyone of ya'll been watching football? Well, I have! Surprise, surprise. Haha. I didn't think it would be this kan chiong and interesting to watch except for the parts where the players kick the ball out - I feel it just kills time. OKLA, I'm very the tired now so I'm gonna go. Till next time, peeps, I'll blog again. God bless and have a SUPERB day. :)

I'm a Lazy Bum.

I realized that my course is not suitable for lazy people like me. You gotta revise EVERYDAY after you come back from college. I know it sounds easy and all but if you've spent like 12 hours of your day in college including travelling time it is so impossible to find the strength to do that! Now that I've got all the time I need I feel so lazy to study already. Urgh. Lord, I need Your strength. Also, I'd be happy if you guys can pray for me for my exams this Wednesday till Friday. TENGKIU. :)

Have a nice day & God bless.

Short.

I absolutely hate it when my mum plays reverse psychology with me. When I'm on the computer she'll start nagging and say stuff like ,"Go study. Don't regret later I tell you." WHAT THE HELL. ARGH.

STARDEEEEE AHH.

I've been bumming around the past 6 hours. I seriously need to get my ass in front of my books and stardee! 20+ more days to go before my exam man. GAH.

Voice of truth.

But the Voice of truth tells me a different story
the Voice of truth says "do not be afraid!"
and the Voice of truth says "this is for My glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me
I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of truth
-Casting Crowns-

I'm just gonna make this short.

No doubt we are constantly surrounded by all kinds of sounds around us but most of the time it's the voice of truth, the voice of God that speaks to us. And rarely do we listen to it because of our own desires and selfishness and sometimes we choose to listen to the devil's voice instead. It's not that we don't want to follow the voice of truth, but sometimes we are afraid of what might happen if we listen to it. You see, only God can see the big picture of our life while we can't and that makes us afraid of the future. Sometimes we don't listen to the voice of truth because we fear of the perception we get from other people. All I can say is, let's be brave and listen to Him because He has got a great plan for us. One that will bring Him glory. :)

Have a nice day, peeps.

Alive.

Yesh, people as you have read my title. I'm still alive and here is my once in a blue moon update. (I always wondered whether "blue moon" was just a metaphor but then I googled it and I found out it existed! click *here*) Okay, sorry for the side track.

ANYWAYS, I just thought of updating ya'll (whoever is left reading my blog that is. Hah) of what's been going on. College has been lotsa fun with crazy friends and hilarious teachers. But it's sad that I only get to see them in this semester cause there'll be new subjects in the next semester. Let's just hope fate will bring us back together. :D One thing about my course is that once you've passed a paper you don't have to sit for it again. Otherwise, you would have to resit for it again until you pass and that means being in a different group from your previous class. I know it's complicated and confusing but yeah just a little idea of how my course is. I think for the past 4 months I have already sat for more than..15-20 tests? YES! Even high school doesn't torture me that much.

OK, gotta go. Till in a billion lightyears, have a great day. :)

Oh by the way...

*please ignore the "turban" thankyouverymuch. :)

I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST! Woohoo..can't wait to drive already. :))) Yeah, I know la. Big deal right? Hahaha. XD *

Just a random thought.

I super adore guys with dimples. It melts my heart 'cause they look so charming with that two deep "dents" on their cheek. Haha. Take Joseph Gordon-Levitt for example. Ah...*drools.

Edit: Oh oh, I super duper adore people with smiling eyes too. I envy them actually 'cause my eyes are too sepet to curve upwards. But I'm not complaining! =D

Silence, I kill you!

College has been fun but tiring. Mr. Bill, my T5 teacher is a joker which is a good thing since he teaches us the toughest paper. He never fails to make the class feel dull. Miss Geetha, Miss Yiong and Mr Bill are my favourite lecturers so far. Life has never been this great for me.

This year is another year to better myself. High school has left numerous memories for me but now it's my time to make another chapter in my life. And it's all because of You. Thank You, Jesus for never ending love. I You!!

P/S: I think my crush has a gf already. oh wellsssssssss.

Blimey!

You know, I'd win the "best stalker" award if there ever was one. HAHA.

College, college, college. When will I ever make up my mind. Now I'm regretting not going for the first intake which is tomorrow! I told myself that if I didn't get 1st batch for NS then I'll straight away sign up for college but I dunno what happen! Gah. OK, regretting ain't getting me nowhere so I've just gotta leave it to Him. After all, He's in charge of everything right?

P/S: I'm not gonna blog about my crush. He's a secret. :P
