Wong Fu Productions.
Wong Fu Productions. Ever heard of them? Well, they're this three guys who make really awesome videos. (OK, I'm sorry I do not know how to make them sound more awesome-r than that. Hee.) They're not rich or anything. Just 3 ordinary guys amking videos on youtube FOR A LIVING. Yes, you read that right. They make money by selling their merchandises on their website*here*. I've got to make this short because I have to pack and mum's nagging. Grr. So yeah, go check them out alright? Wanted to promote them since before SPM. :P
And if you've seen my brother before and knows how he looks like, well then you would have to agree with me when I say that this guy on the far right looks a LOT like him. It's creepy. *shudders*. By the way, from left-right is PhilipWang, some fan, Ted Fu and my brother look-alike(eww) Wesley Chan. . But he's cute ain' he? Hehe.

I feel it all.
I'm lovin' lots of different kinds of songs these days. It makes me get my mind off things
OKlah, I wanna take a nap. I just got back from Iri's house. "500 days of Summer" was a good but really weird movie. On a random note: I'm a free woman now! - for now that is. There's still a long way for me to go in life but I'm just gonna take it slowly for now. You know like Owl City - "Fireflies"? :D
Signing off.

It's 3.40 am...
So hmmm..how do I do this again? I'm getting a lil rusty with blogging already. Hahaha. Right ok. This is gonna be a boring post so whatevs. It seems like my friends have already registered for college, got their driving license and all already and I'm still so left behind. The first thing that I'm gonna do is to register for my undang and then PARTAYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Ok, that doesn't sound like me but I'm most probably gonna go hang out with Joanna, Jolene and Michele. We da tuition mates, yo. Don't mess. Haha. Ahem, sorry for the lameness.
My tuititon teacher told us that after SPM we can relax as much as we want right? But how are we to do that since we're gonna start college in January? June's too long to wait, ya know. And I'm going to Penang on the 11th-13th December and XYZ camp on the 16th-19th December.
Oh by the way, my church's having a christmas play on the 11th-13th Dec too at 8pm if I'm not mistaken. So if you guys are interested you can go check it out. They've done some previews in church and it looks exciting! Too bad I'll be enjoying Penang food instead. :D Oh yeah, my cell group is celebrating the post SPM and I won't be able to make it. Sigh. Been missing them group meetings for way too long.
OKOK. It's already very late. Just wanted to blog while waiting for youtube to play Saw VI trailer. Tanedra who won the MTV Scream Queen is in it that's why. :P So, good mornight!

For My Good - James MacDonald.

"It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons." - Hebrews 12:7 - 8
I would have been a better behaved kid if I could have been a parent first.
Kids just don't understand what parents try to do for them. If you're a parent, don't you wish that your kids could see that every action that you take towards them, even imperfectly, is out of love? But they don't always get that.
When I was an adolescent, I remember thinking my parents were so confused. Then I grew up and, as Mark Twain mused, I was amazed at how much they had learned.
I thought it was hard when I had to discipline my kids when they were young. Little kids are a quite a handful. When your kids get older and you must let them experience the consequences of their choices, they become quite a "heartful." Especially when you can't step in and keep the pain from happening. You have to watch them suffer the cost of their decisions. For sure, "heartful" is harder than handful.
How is it with you today? Are you in a difficult circumstance as a discipline from your loving Father? Do you feel His sadness that it had to come to this in order for you to learn? I don't want to get older and still be an adolescent Christian. I want to grow up in the Lord and trust my heavenly Father even when I don't understand what He's doing. I want to believe that the Lord is way smarter than me. He gets it. His discipline is for my good.
Hebrews 12:7-8 tells the good but hard truth: “It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline? If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.” Your Father loves you. Everything He allows is for your growth and good. He sees the long picture, even when you can’t. I wonder how I make God’s heart sad when I don’t understand that He lovingly draws near to me even in times of learning (See Psalm 34:18).
James MacDonald.

If a Song Could Get Me You - Marit Larsen.
I could try you with a waltz
I could try you rock and roll
I could try you with the blues
If a song would do
I could sing it high or low
When I let you go you know
I thought it was for the best
Now it is so obvious
So here it is, here it goes
I could try rock and roll
I would change your life forever too
If a song could get me you
I could make it high or low
Sing it on the radio
If that is what I need to do
If a song could get me you
I could run for miles and miles
I'd take off and I'd start flying
I could cross land and sea
If you just believe me
I should not have hurt you so
This old house is not a home
Without you here, there's no use
I've got no time left to lose
So here it is, here it goes
I could try rock and roll
I would change your life forever too
If a song could get me you
I could make it high or low
Sing it on the radio
If that is what I need to do
If a song could get me you
If a song could get me through
I'd sing my way, right back to you
Tell me how, to make it right
Tell me now, I'll start tonight
I know I could make it last
I swear to you that if I knew
What I was getting myself into
I wouldn't answer to my fears
I'd never leave you standing there
Just look at me
If you'd only see me
I would prove my love for you
I could swallow half the moon
Just tell me where, tell me when
I will have you back again
So here it is, here it goes
I could try rock and roll
I would change your life forever too
If a song could get me you
I could make it high or low
Sing it on the radio
If that is what I need to do
If a song could get me you
So here it is, here it goes
I could try rock and roll
I would change your life forever too
If a song could get me you
I could make it high or low
Sing it on the radio
If that is what I need to do
If a song could get me you

CG dinner and loads of other stuffs.
So we ordered food, joked around like what groups of friends do. Then guess what? Since it was Jia Huey's and Kai Xian's birthday, and since we were having dinner in TGIF, they were forced to stand on the chair and give a speech. Hahaha. Okay okay. So I was forced to do so too since they said my birthday was only a week ago. :) But hey, first times are always great. I mean where else would you get asked to give a speech in public right? Anyway, I'll let the pictures do the talking now.
Me and Jean.
Janis and Gloria.
Cookies and Cream, if I'm not mistaken. Doesn't it look yummy?

Randoms.
I miss Australia and my cousins lah! One thing I love about Australia is taking the buses there. They're so systematic unlike Malaysia. And there's another thing about the dressing rooms there. You know how we usually just dump the clothes at the fitting room after trying them on? Well, I did that and the lady was, "Umm the clothes are suppose to be on the hangers when you give them back, alright?" Whoops! Another thing I love about Australia is the parks! Do you how much space and greens they have? A whole lot I tell you.
OKla, just wanted to post something - anything - here to keep my blog alive. I don't really care anymore if people do read my blog because I have to admit, it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO boring. :D
Faithful by Brooke Fraser.
When I can't feel you, I have learned to reach out just the same
When I can't hear you, I know you still hear everyword I pray
And i want you more than i want to live another day
And as I wait for you maybe I'm made more faithful

"A Challenge for the End and the Start of the Year," by James Macdonald.
"Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us . . ." Hebrews 12:1
My son Luke and I were on the computer a while back when I asked for his password. He answered, "It's 'Keep on.'" I told him that was a great password and he said, "Oh Dad, that's my password for everything."
Keep on. Keep on. Keep on.
For sure he'll change his password now, but I hope he'll never change his perspective. These two words are critical to success in life and in the Christian life. The biblical word is endurance or perseverance--the ability to keep on doing the things you have committed yourself to doing when you feel like it and when you don't. Nothing is more essential to success in the Christian life than perseverance. Faith gets you started; perseverance keeps you going.
This matter of perseverance is so critical to the Christian life that James 1 tells us that above all other human traits, perseverance is the characteristic that God is trying to build into your life and mine. The ability to keep on going. Keep making and keeping the commitments of life.
It's easy to start the race. All kinds of people get up in the morning and put their jogging suit on and begin to run. But when the miles click past and the muscles start to fatigue and life isn't easy anymore, what do they do? What do you do?
It's easy to put on a white dress or a tuxedo and get to the front of the church; everybody knows that. But to have a happening marriage--not for five--but for 15 or 40 years, that takes perseverance!
It's easy to conceive a child and, by comparison, it's easy to birth a child, but to keep on training and raising those kids day in and day out, following through on what you have said and taught--that takes commitment!
Might I say in addition to that, it's easy to pray a prayer and walk an aisle; it's easy to confess faith in Christ. But to keep on following Christ--even when the pressure is on--that takes staying power. "My brothers, consider it pure joy when you fall into various trials knowing that the trying of your faith produces perseverance."
Staying power! Did you know that if God could get that one thing into your life, He could give you everything else? James 1 goes on to say, "But let perseverance have its perfect work that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing" (v.4).
This week we stand on the hinge between two years--2008 and 2009. How will these two years mark your life? Look back on 2008 for a moment. If your year was like mine, you can see some pretty significant peaks and valleys. Praise God for them. Praise God that at this year's end, you can stand before Him in faith and humility and say, "No matter what is behind me, I finish this year strong in Christ." Like Paul in Philippians 3:13-14 "but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" I press on--that's perseverance.
Now look ahead to 2009. You don't know what the year will bring, but you can be sure of this, God is faithful. His mercies will be new every morning of every day of the new year. There's power in the day when you start it with faith in God and a commitment to perseverance.
Keep on--it's a great password for 2009.
